Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can boost the power of a piece and sometimes even its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random augmentations applied.
For instance, the top shield for racial discrimination Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb function in PvP or to provide additional defenses to missile-based designs in PvM. This makes it more exchangeable than the un-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to reroll a purchased item like armor, weapon or rings. This replaces the item with an identical item however with different benefits. Reroll tokens are an affordable method of upgrading gear. However, they don't keep the quality of the original item and any resources that are wasted aren't refunded.
Survivors may acquire reroll tokens by a variety of means, including from the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests, or purchased from the store for 150k each. Reroll tokens are used to alter the attributes of an item, for example increasing its damage.
Players can roll equipment in three attributes, physical power, spell power and health. Physical power upgrades boost the damage caused by melee and weapons while spell power boosts rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades give players an additional level of health.
There are three types of reroll tokens: upgrade, rare, and legendary. Each upgrade elevates an item to a higher quality, with the requirement of a higher-quality reroll token order to produce it. Upgrades require a regular item. Rare upgrades require an item that is exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
The marker for rerolling, unlike markers or tokens placed on action spaces remains on the space till the next success is rerolled. item upgrades allows you to prevent the waste of upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes that show up at the start of every Preparation phase. They can be opened with Interact by grabbing on to them. When they are opened, they display a full description and the icon of the relevant appliance or ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged to purchase a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's store for the amount of coins.
In the course of a run, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool based on selected Franchise Cards. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop can offer for rerolls and also those that are in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade armor, weapons and other items. These are special stones that boost the level of an item by increasing its stats and abilities. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. Additionally, players can acquire these stones by signing daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment to upgrade gear, players must first locate the item and then click the "level up button". This will show a list of the item's current level and what it will become after being leveled-up. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the item. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Most often, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, while uncommon armor requires only one green or blue Growth Stone.
After deciding what to upgrade, players must select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. Once the requirements are fulfilled, the player may select the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will raise the item's level a certain percentage. The upgrade process can last from a few seconds to several minutes, depending on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process is also completely risk-free and does not affect the durability of the item. It's an excellent choice for those who want to get an edge in combat but don't want strain their wallets. Clicking on the "transfer tab" players can transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded piece of gear onto the new gear.
For new players, it can be difficult to acquire Growth Stones. There are a variety of methods to obtain them, including contract completion and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from reward chests that are available during the Ancient Arena season. In addition players can take apart the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that allows you to boost the power of armor and weapons. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. It's done by the combination of an item with upgrades at the Upgrade Station, paying a fee of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will use up the upgrade materials and grant the item a higher level, granting the item a boost in that area. The process will continue until the item reaches its maximum level.
Items that have upgraded stats will display an icon of blue next to their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments can't be applied to more than one item at once. Each upgrade component also requires a certain number of items and a minimum level of equipment.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can place an item to be upgraded. On the right side, a preview shows what the gear will look like at its next level. Once the player has enough items, pressing the yellow arrow will begin the upgrade process.
A piece of gear can be upgraded up to five times. Each time it is upgraded the stats of the base item will be increased by an amount of. The maximum level of an item is 19.
Once an item has reached its maximum level, its upgrades are no longer available for it. When a piece of equipment is upgraded to a certain track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can be slotted into armor, weapons trinkets, trinkets, or gathering tools to give an attribute bonus or extra effect while the equipment is in use. They can be bought through vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be changed by acquiring new ones. However, this will cause the old upgrade to be destroyed.
Requirements
Upgrades to items give players the ability to increase certain stats on weapons and armor they currently have. The requirements for upgrading an item vary depending on the type of item however, generally you'll require Dilithium as well as a few Upgrade Tokens (various options available).
The items can be upgraded by adding upgrade components to weapons and equipment. This will give them additional effects or an increase in item level. These upgrades can be obtained through a variety of sources in the game, such as crafting, purchased from the Trading Post or karma vendors, looted from bosses and raids, or collected from dungeons. Once an upgrade component has been added to an object it is not able to be removed or replaced. However it is possible to swap glyphs freely.
Upgrades to an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Some upgrade components also have additional modifiers that can boost the item's stats.
For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" boosts the base defense and provides an additional 20% chance of blocking. Additionally, the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases weapon damage.
Certain items benefit from being upgraded less because of their improved stats, but because it lets players get the maximum amount of value out of a perfect roll on the item. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for example, is highly valued by the melee PvP communities and can be worth up to 20-50 times that of the unupp'd version.
When you select an upgrade component that you want to put into an item the game will display an open window that displays the required requirements. The game will display the requirements required when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
If you've fulfilled the requirements for an upgrade the game will put the item in your inventory and the progress bar will update to show how close to completing it. You can also check on the status of an item upgrade by visiting any NPC who upgrades items.
